Games Much Closer In Game Two Of Cousland

 Game two of the Cousland Cup saw both winners and both losers from the first game, play against each other. John Sinclair got off to a good start against Alan Ogilvie leading 4-0 after three ends. Alan got on the board on the fourth end and also won the sixth and seventh end but came up just short as John Sinclair won the match 5-4.

The second match was a topsy-turvy match as Basil Baird's team started with a bang scoring four in the first end. Graham Russell's team not only got back into the match, but they took the lead after winning the next four ends. Basil's team looked like they had won the match scoring a five and a single to lead by four going into the last end. Against the odds, Graham's team scored a four in the last end to peel the match 10-10.
