Hamilton Turns It Around To Win Wardrop

 The Wardrop Cup Bonspiel was tightly contested by two teams this season. Christine Smellie's team got off to a good start leading 4-0 after the opening two ends. Christine Hamilton's team got right back onto the match by winning the next two ends to reduce the lead to 4-3.  Christine Smellie's team then moved two in front after the fifth end before Christine Hamilton made the decisive move when she scored a four in the sixth end. The match went right down to the last shot in the last end when Christine Smillie had to hit and stick to tie the match. Unforchatly her last shot rolled off leaving Christine Hamilton the champion with a 7-6 victory.
