Alan Leaps to Cousland Title

 Going into the final game of this season's Cousland Cup all five teams technically had a chance to win the league. Knowing a win would give them the title, John Sinclair's team had the best chance, but the match didn't go his way. Abigail Rennie's team made a fast start against John leading 6-0 after three ends. John's team kept their hopes alive with a three in the fourth end. Abigail's team replied by winning the last two ends to win the game 9-3. 

This result opened up the chance for Alan Ogilive and Graham Wood to win the league now. A win now for these teams would give them the title. And it was Alan's team that took an early advantage when they won the opening four ends to lead 9-0. Graham's team won the fifth end with a three, but Alan's team sealed the title when they scored a two in the sixth end to win the game and the Cousland Cup. 

Congratulations to Alan and his team of James Baird, Alison Wood, and Kirsteen Sinclair for winning the Cousland Cup.

Congratulations also to Douglas Wood, Graham Young, Andrew Graham, and Anne Baird for winning the Henderson Shield for the runners-up.
