Biggar Score Beats Midcalder At Dippool Bonspiel

Midcalder were invited to play at Dippool Curling Club Bonspiel, held at Hamilton Ice Rink at the weekend. Representing Midcalder on the day were Alan Russell (skip), Andrew Brash (third), Jean Brash (second) and Jean Carruthers (lead). Dippool invited six clubs to play against six home teams and in the 15th year of the Bonspiel. Midcalder put on a strong performance throughout the bonspiel only losing two ends out of the seven they played and finished on plus eight shots.  But this was not enough to beat the score from Biggar Curling Club who finished on plus ten shots.
