Ladies And Juniors Go Into Battle

It was another great day's viewing watching this years Ladies and Juniors Competitions.
In the Ladies Competition saw Marion Mulholland and her team of Lesley Barr, Kate Abbot, Jean Carruthers take on Christine Hamilton and her team of Jean Brash, Isabel Graham, Lynne McEwen. This was a very close game with no team taking the upper hand. The game was tied going into the last end and it was Marion's team that held there nerves to steal a three in the last end to win the game 8-5. Well done Marion

All Smiles After The Ladies Game

In the Junior Competition, it was James Baird and his team of Gavin Barr, George Sinclair, Ewan Barr take on David Baird and his team of Rebecca Baird, Adam Keron, Callum Wood.
It was David Baird, this years underdogs that stormed into a seven one lead after four ends of this years competition. James wasn't finished though! They thought back after taking a three in the fifth end and came close in the sixth end when they got a two. This left David and his team narrow winners 7-6.  Well done to David and his Team.
The Draw Shot Challenge was over four attempts (presidents decision) and saw Rebecca lead after the fist two shots. Though it was James Baird who took the spoils after getting closer after the next two shots. Well done James.
