Midcalder's Glenfarclas Promotion Hopes Still Beating
Midcalder were back in action in Division 2 of the Glenfarclas Mid Lothian Province League. It may have been valentines day, but it didn't stop Midcalder's heart beating towards promotion to Division 1. There opponents on the night were Penicuik Curling Club and after a close fought game, it was Midcalder who came out on top after winning 9-4. Playing on the night for Midcalder were Stewart Barr (skip), Alan Russell (third), Graham Young (second) and John Sinclair (lead).
This leaves Midcalder in third place in the league, two points behind leaders Lothian and Borders Police and one points behind Barbarians with two games to go.
