Midcalder Crash Out Of Rink Championship
Midcalder Curling Club were knocked out of the Rink Championship by Carrington Curling Club. Playing for Midcalder on the night were Basil Baird, Graham Young, David Baird and Scott Baird.
After a close couple of opening ends to the match, Carrington won three ends on the spin to lead 6-1. This was just too big a lead to get back as Midcalder went down 7-3 in the end.
