Ewan Storms Into Lead
Ewan Hamilton's team got of to a great start in this seasons Torphichen Broom competition after winning the game 15-1. They lost the first end to Stewart Barr's Team, but then Ewan's team wouldn't lose another end in the game and was even given 3 shots for the Stewart's team only having three players.
The rest of the games were drawn and first up was the game between Graham Young and Basil Baird. The match seemed to be going Basil's way when they held a 5-2 lead after five ends. But Graham's team won the last two end to draw the match at 5-5.
In the final match, Alan Russell's team held a 3-0 lead after three ends. Bob Graham's team then won the next two end to level the match at 3-3 before the last two ends were blanked.
