Scott Baird kept his 100% record in the Stoddart Cup after seeing off Stewart Barr's team in Game 2. Scott's team got off to a better start when they raced to a 4-1 lead after four ends. Stewart's team then closed the gap to one point with one end to play, Before Scott's team ended their hopes when they took a three in the last end.
Alan Russell got their league campaign under way with a fine win over Bob Graham. With Alan & Lesley not playing in the team on the night, it was up to their subs of David and Mhari Baird to show how it's done. David guided Alan's team into an unassailable 9-1 lead after 4 ends and completed the win in the 7th end for an 11-2 win.
