Two John's Close Gap In Cousland

Four teams are still in the hunt for the Cousland Cup title going into the final game after John Sinclair and John Baird closed the gap on Callum Wood at the top.
John Baird made a late comeback against Graham Russell to take the points after taking a 3 in the first end they lost the next four ends to be 5-3 down. The late charge started with a single in the sixth followed by a 3 in the last end to win the game 7-5.
John Sinclair had a rollercoaster game against Lesley Barr after both teams traded 3's in the first two ends. John team then moved clear in the fifth end leading 6-4 only for Lesley's team to move back into a 7-6 lead by the seventh end. John saved a point for his team in the last end when he tapped up one of his teams shots to level the game at 7-7.
The results mean four teams will go into the last game separated by only two points.
