Inverness Junior International
It was more great performances from Midcalder Juniors when they were competing at the Inverness Junior International part of the Asham under 21 Slam.
James and David Baird were part of Team Whyte who won all of the round-robin games, then won the semifinal in an extra end against Team Joiner. The final was a very close game, but they lost the game against Team Brydone 8-7.
Sophie Sinclair was playing with Team Aitken and they also won all of their round-robin games, then won the semifinal 8-4 against Team Young. The final didn't go their way as they lost to Team Murray 9-2.
Rebbeca Baird, playing in Team Bryce won 3 out of 4 round-robin games before losing the semifinal game against Team Murray 7-2. They did bounce back well, winning the 3/4 game 11-5 against Team Young.
George Sinclair was playing with Team McLean but were unable to get out of the round-robin stages of the competition.
