Sublime Performances At Broom
Lots of subs were needed in game 2 of the Torphichen Broom competition, but it didn't take away from the quality on show. Graham Young came from 4-2 down after three ends against Scott Baird to win his match 6-4 after winning the last three ends.
Bob Graham also had to come from behind against Alan Russell, but a 6 in the fourth end got him into an unbeatable position and carries on for a 9-5 victory.
Just about all the scoring in the weeks last game were done in the first three ends as Stewart Barr held a 6-2 lead over Basil Baird and with only one more point being scored in the match going to Basil's team, Stewart's team held on for a 6-3 win.
