Baird Closes Gap At Top Of Stoddart4-1
Basil Baird closed the gap at the top of the Stoddart Cup but missed out on joining Graham Wood at the top of the league after drawing with Bob Graham. Basil got off to a great start when his team raced into a 7-2 lead after four ends but back came Bob Grahams team, skipped by George Sinclair on the night and won the last three ends with a single and two 2's grab a point for Bob team as the match finished at 7-7.
Stewart Barr moved off the bottom of the league after defeating Graham Young. Stewart's team got off to a good start when they lead 4-1 after four ends and continued that form as they would win the match 6-2 overall to move up to fourth in the league.
