Top Two Lose As Bob Goes Top
Graham Wood suffered his second defeat of the season as his team fell to third placed Bob Graham in game 6 of the Stoddart Cup. Bob's team got off to a great start when they went 5-0 up after three ends, Graham got one back in the fourth before Bob's team scored 5 more points in the last four ends to win the match 10-2. The win moves Bob's team to the top of the league.
Stewart Barr held a narrow 3-2 lead over John Sinclair after four ends before his team moved into top gear as they scored a 5 in the fifth and a 4 in the seventh as his team cruised to a 12-4 win.
It was fourth verses fifth in the weeks final game as Basil Baird romped into an 8-3 lead over Alan Russell after four ends, things didn't get much better for a miss firing Alan as Basil ran out 10-6 winners.
