Basil Leaves it Late Again to Go to the Top of Stoddart

 Game two of this season's Stoddart Cup saw three closely fought games. Alan Ogilvie's team got off to a great start leading 5-1 at the halfway point in the game against Graham Young. Alan's team pushed further ahead with a single in the fifth end and even though Graham won the last two ends, it was Alan Ogilvie that took the spoils 6-3.

the second game of the week saw Basil Baird's comeback team do it again. Alan Russell's team had led 5-3 at the halfway point in the game and 6-5 going into the last end. But it was Basil that took the win by scoring a 4 in the last end to win the game 9-6.

The final game of the week saw Stewart Barr leading 6-2 after four ends. Laura Barr's team got back into the match by scoring six points in the next two ends to lead the match. Stewart managed to rescue a point by scoring a two in the last end to tie the match 8-8.
