All Close at Top Of Broom

Game three of this season's Torphichen Broom got more exciting as three teams have now tied for the top of the league.

David Baird's team got off to a good start leading 3-0 after three ends. Basil Baird was only able to reduce the lead by one point at the halfway point.  Two 2's by David Baird's team gave them a 7-1 victory.

The second game of the week saw Iam Keron leading 1-0 after three ends. Stewart Barr's team moved into top gear by winning four of the next five ends to win the match 9-1.

In a low-scoring third game, Douglas Sands team scored a two in the first end and then scored two singles in the fourth and fifth ends. Graham Young's team was only able to score a two in the last end giving Douglas Sands a 4-2 victory.
