Midcalder Curling Club held their pairs competition at Curl Edinburgh. A round-robin competition with the top two teams heading into the final.
Stewart Barr and Lesley Barr took on Basil Baird and John Sinclair in the final. In a great final Basil and John scored a two in the first end. Stewart and Lesley responded by scoring two 2's in the next two ends. Basil and John then scored a two in the last end to push the match into an extra end. In the last end, Stewart and Lesley held their nerve to score a single and win the Buchanan Trophy.
