High-Five To Basil In Wardrop

 Midcalder Curling Club held its closing bonspiel with the Wardrop Cup. A very close game saw Alan Ogilvie take the early advantage leading 2-1 after three ends. Basil Baird's team then took the lead with a two in the fourth. Alan's team then leveled the game at the next end before Basil's team had a strong finish by winning the last two ends to give them the title with an 8-3 victory. The win was Basil's fifth trophy of the season.
