Cousland Tightens Up At The Top

With Scott Baird away, Harry Russell's team took advantage of his absence to defeat the league leaders in week 3 of the Cousland Cup. It was a close with Harry team managing to play the big shot's when required to win the game 7-4.
Graham Russell's team got their first win of the league after defeating John Sinclair's team. Alan Ogilvie moved up to, skip in Graham absence and won what would be a high scoring game. Graham's team lead 7-1 after four ends and even with a strong finish from John's team in the match. It was Graham Russell team that won the game 10-7.
Lesley Barr's team moved up to third in the league after coming through a close game against Andrew Brash's team. With the match tied at four all after three ends, Andrew team moved into the lead after winning the fifth and sixth ends to lead 7-5. But Lesley's team grabbed the win with a three in the last end to win the match 8-7.
