Day Two started with Midcalder winning Group 7 after Ian Keron, Alan Russell, Adam Keron & Ian Provan defeated Awesome Sauce from Holland 8-3. The win placed Midcalder in the top group for the final three matches.  These got underway with David Baird, Rebecca Baird, Callum Wood & Ewan Barr defeating Penicuik Curling Club 8-3.
The third and final day got underway with Basil Baird, Ian Keron, Alan Russell & Andrew Keron keeping the winning feeling going with a 6-3 victory over Swiss Schimidis of Switzerland. The result left the Midcalder team of David Baird, George Sinclair, Rebecca Baird & Callum Wood needing a draw or a win against Red & Blue from Switzerland in their last match. The match was a very close game with the first two ends being blanked. The big move was made in the fifth end when David drew for a 2 to lead the match 3-1. They kept the last end clear leaving the Swiss skip to draw for a single giving Midcalder a 3-2 win.  Well done to everyone who played this weekend.  What a fantastic way to end the season!
