Russell Move's Clear At Top Of Stoddart
Alan Russell kept his unbeaten start to the Stoddart Cup but it was John Sinclair that got off to a great start with a 3 in the first end. Alan's team responded with a 4 in the second end before the remaining ends were all won with singles. John leveled the match in the third end before Alan won the next two ends. John closed the gap again before Alan's team won the last end to win 7-5.
Graham Wood got their Stoddart Cup campaign underway with a win over Andrew Brash and it was Graham that had the better start to the game when his team raced into a 6-1 lead after four ends. Andrew's team then closed the gap by winning the next two ends but Graham's team held on by scoring a 2 in the last end to win the game 8-4.
