Midcalder Bow Out Of Rink Championship

Midcalder Curling Club was playing Athelsteneford Curling Club in the quarter-finals of the Rink Championship. The Midcalder team of David Baird, Alan Russell, Stewart Barr and Scott Baird played closely fought match with the game tied at four all after four ends.
The match continued to be close with Midcalder down one point playing the last end and lying two shots with Athelsteneford last stone to come. There skip calmly played his last stone to draw the button to win the match 7-5.
