No Big Moves In Torphichen Broom Game 3
Stewart Barr was taking on Graham Young and both teams had 100 percent record in the competition so far, who would come out on top? well none of them! Stewarts's team got off to a good start winning the first two ends with 2's. Graham's team weren't finished as the won the fifth and seventh end with 2's to tie the match at 4-4.
Alan Russell was the other team with 100 percent record in the competition until Scott Baird's team stopped that by leading 4-0 after three ends. Alan's team got on the scoreboard in the fourth end before Scott's team scored a 3 in the fifth. Alan's team won the last two ends but it wasn't enough as Scott's team held out to win 7-4.
The last game saw two teams still trying to get their first points in the competition and it was Bob Graham's that had the early advantage scoring singles in the first two ends. Basil Baird then levelled the game by scoring singles in the fourth and fifth ends before Bob's team scored a 3 in the sixth. Basil then scored a 3 in the seventh to tie the match at 5-5.
