Early Lead For Andrew Graham In Cousland Cup
The first games of the 2017 Cousland Cup go it underway and it was Andrew Graham team that took the early advantage when they comfortable win over John Baird. A 5 in the second end got Andrew underway and they lead 7-2 at the halfway point. The next two ends were shared with 3's before Andrew won the last end with a single to win the game 11-5.
Alan Ogilvie's team bounced back after losing a 2 in the first end against Graham Young to win the next three ends to lead 5-2 after four ends. Graham levelled the match with a 3 in the fifth before Alan won the match with a 3 in the last end to win the game 8-5.
The final match saw Christine Hamilton's team win the first three ends with singles then Graham Russell's team won the next two ends with singles. Christine's team scored a single in the sixth before Graham came through in the last end with a 3 to win the match 5-4.
