Russell Leapfrogs to the Top of Stoddart Cup

 Top-of-the-table clash saw league leaders Stewart Barr taking on Alan Russell.  Alan's team got off and running with a three in the opening end. Stewart's team then won the second end before Alan's team won the next three ends to lead 7-1. Stewart's team scored two 2's to close the gap only for Alan's team to win the last end and the match 8-5.

Scott Baird's team was looking for their first win and made a great start against Graham Young's team by winning the first three ends. Graham's team scored a single on the fourth end before Scott's team secured their first win by winning the last three ends and the match 8-1.

In the last match, David Baird's team held a 6-1 lead over Basil Baird at the halfway point. Basil's team then scored a two and then both teams traded singles in the next two ends. David's team then sealed the win with a two in the last end to win the match 9-4.
