Stewart Goes Clear at the Top of Stoddart Cup

 Game two of this season's Stoddart Cup saw Stewart Barr go clear at the top after defeating Scott Baird. Stewart's team got a great start by winning the first five ends to lead 8-0. Scott's team got on the board with a three in the sixth end before Stewart's team finished the game with a two at the last end to win the match 10-3.

The next match saw David Baird taking on Graham Young. The match was tied at 3-3 after 5 ends. Graham's team then scored seven points in the next two ends to blast into the lead. David's team came close in the last end scoring five points just two short as Graham's team won 10-8.

In the last match, Basil Baird's team scored a two in the opening end. Alan Russell's team then won the five ends to take a commanding lead. Basil's team then won the seventh but lost the last end. Alan's team won the match 14-4.
