Midcalder Keep Good Form In Glenfarclas
Midcalder Curling Club kept their winning ways in the Glenfarclas Mid Lothian Division 1 League after defeating Duddingston Curling Club. Playing for Midcalder on the night was Alan Russell, Graham Young, Scott Baird and John Sinclair.
In a closely fought game, it was Midcalder that had the better start by stealing singles in the first two ends of the game before Duddingston pulled one back in the third end. Midcalder then pulled away again by taking a 2 in the fourth followed by two singles in the fifth and sixth ends. Midcalder finished the game by keeping the house clear in the last end to win the match 6-2.
