Midcalder Tied Top In Glenfarclas
Midcalder Curling Club will go to their last Glenfarclas Mid Lothian Division 1 tied top after defeating Carrington Curling Club. Playing for Midcalder on the night was Alan Russell, Basil Baird, James Baird and John Sinclair.
The match was swing both ways early in the match and it was Midcalder that held a 5-4 lead after four ends. The match turned in Midcalder's favour in the next two ends when they stole a single in the fifth and a 3 in the sixth. The match finished in the seventh end when Carrington only managed to score a single leaving Midcalder 9-5 winners.
