Five In A Row At Inter-Club
Midcalder Curling Club held their annual Inter-Club competition with Haddington, Penicuik and Uphall Curling Clubs accepting the challenge to compete against three Midcalder rinks.
With an afternoon of curling and socializing, all the matches were very close but it was a Midcalder rink that won the day, the fifth time in a row that Midcalder have won their own trophy. This time, it was the team of Graham Young, Bob Graham, Alan Crawford and Abigail Rennie that won the trophy with a 5 shots victory over Penicuik Curling Club. Haddington Curling Club team of Morgan Nicoll, John Good, Sandy Nicoll and Shelagh Main were runners-up with one shot victory over Midcalder.
