Golden Girl Sophie
Congratulations to Sophie Sinclair who was part of the winning Scotland Team at the World Junior B Curling Championships in Oestersund, Sweden.
The Scotland Team of Sophie Jackson, Naomi Brown, Mili Smith, Sophie Sinclair and Laura Barr qualified from the group stages with six wins and no losses. They then went on to win quarter-final against Norway 8-2 and followed that up with a 6-2 win over China in the semi-final.
They got off to a great start in the final against Turkey and never looked back as they secured the gold medal with a 7-4 victory.
The victory also qualified Scotland for the World Junior Championships in Korea.
