Andrew And Alan Remain Unbeaten In Cousland
Andrew Graham kept his good start to the Cousland Cup after defeating Christine Hamilton. Andrew's team lead 5-1 after four ends and with the next two ends being shared with 2's, it was left to Andrew's team to score a one in the last end to win the match 8-3.
Alan Ogilvie also kept an unbeaten start to the league after getting off to a fast start against Graham Russell's team who found themselves 7-0 down after four ends. Graham's team got on the scoreboard by winning the next two ends, but it wasn't enough as Alan's team won the last to win the game 8-5.
The last game saw the bottom two teams fighting it out and it was Graham Young's team that got off to a great start after leading 4-0 after three ends. John Baird got right back into the match by scoring seven points in the next three ends, before Graham saved a point by scoring a 3 in the last end to tie the match at 7-7.
