Andrew Moves Clear At Top Of Cousland

The top two teams in the Cousland Cup were up against each other and it was Alan Ogilvie that got off to a fast start with a 4 in the opening end. Andrew Graham then went on to win the next three ends to lead the match 5-4 before Alan's team went back into the lead with a 3 in the fifth end. Andrew then went on to win the last two ends to win the match 8-7 to move clear at the top of the league.

Next up was the bottom two teams and this time Christine Hamilton's team won the first two ends to lead 7-0 before John Baird won the next three ends to close the gap to 7-5. Christine's team then move four clear again before John won the last two ends to earn a point as the game finished 9-9. 

The last game of the week saw Graham Russell win the first two ends to lead 5-0 before Graham Young closed the gap by scoring singles in the next two ends. The fifth & sixth ends were shared with singles before Graham Russell won the last with a 3 to win the match 9-3.
