Midcalder Finish Runners-up In Swan
Midcalder had a good run in this season's Swan Trophy which sees two teams from each club combine their scores to see who wins.
In the first round Midcalder played Oxenfoord Curling Club with Midcalder One winning 5-3 and Midcalder Two losing 6-5. This gave Midcalder an 10-9 overall.
In the semi-final Midcalder was up against Haddington Curling Club and this time Midcalder One won 9-3 and Midcalder Two lost 5-3. Again Midcalder avanced to the final with a 12-8 overall.
Midcalder run came to a end in the final against Currie & Balerno Curling Club when Midcalder One lost 8-6 and Midcalder Two lost 6-4 giving Currie & Balerno a 14-10 victory over Midcalder.
