Andrew Seals Cousland Cup With A Game To Play
Andrew Graham sealed the Cousland Cup after keeping his unbeaten run going. Playing against Graham Young, Andrew's team held a 3-2 lead after four ends and then won two of the last three ends to win the match and the league after winning 7-4.
Andrew's title was sealed after second and third placed teams both lost, one of those were Alan Ogilvie who's team found themselves 5-3 down after four ends to Christine Hamilton. Four more shots in the next two ends and three penalty points added to Christine's team score as they won the match 12-4.
Graham Russell was the other team that still had a chance, but his chances slipped away after his team found themselves 5-3 down after four ends against John Baird who then went on to steal a three in the sixth then a two in the last end gave John a 10-6 win.
