Midcalder Two Just Miss Out In Rink Championship

Midcalder Two just miss out on qualifying for the next round rink championship after an eventful match against Oxenfoord Curling Club. Playing for Midcalder Two on the day was Stewart Barr, Scott Baird, Graham Wood and Kate Abbot. The game got off to a rough start after one of the players failed to turn up. Kate Abbot came to the rescue just in time for Midcalder Two and the game got underway. But it was a tough start for Midcalder Two, They found themselves 7-2 down after four ends! But things can change very quickly in curling and that happened in the fifth end of the match. Stewart  played a perfect raise take out for a six to lead 8-7. After losing a two in the sixth end, Stewart had a shot for a two in the seventh and last end to win the match. But unforchitanly the stone slid passed and Oxenfoord won the match 10-8.
