Midcalder Full Of Christmas Spirit

Midcalder had another successful Christmas Fun Bonspiel. With everyone wearing something Christmassy for the bonspiel, great fun was had by all.
The bonspiel again had a different discipline for each end.
These were;
End 1 - continuous play
End 2 - clockwise delivery only
End 3 - anti-clockwise delivery only
End 4 - no instructions from skip
Stacking of brooms
End 5 - no speaking
End 6 - no takeout's
End 7 - pile them in (points for every stone in house + bonus point for closest stone!)

Well with all that going on it made for some interesting matches. All games turned out to be close, with the winning team finishing on just plus four points.

And the winning team was... the presidents team themselves Alan Russell, Lesley Barr, Callum Wood and Jean Carruthers.
Other prizes on the day went to Harry Macpherson for best fancy dress and to sheet three for the stacking of the brooms.
