Cousland Tightens Up Again At Top
They were three close scoring games in week 5 of the Cousland Cup. Andrew Graham got of to a flyer in game one of the week against Andrew Brash when he won a four in the first end. By the end of the forth end, Andrew Brash had squared the match at four all and then won the last two ends to win the match 7-5.
The second match of the day saw Harry Russell taking a 10-2 lead over John Sinclair after five ends. John's team did have a good finish after scoring a two and a five in the last two ends, but it was Harry's team that won the day 10-9.
The last match of the week saw Lesley Barr taking on Graham Russell. In a close game, both teams traded shots early on and it was Graham's team that lead 5-3 after five ends. Lesley's team had strong finish to the game, winning the last two ends and the match 6-5.
