Lesley Stays Top In Cousland
Lesley Barr's team finished their Cousland Cup games off with a win in week 7 to finish on ten points. Lesley's team were trailing 4-2 after four ends to Andrew Graham's team, before winning the last three ends of the game to finish 8-4 winners.
Scott Baird's team now need to win their last game of the Cousland Cup to win the title. They got of to a flying start in their game against Graham Russell's team. Scott's team were 13-0 up after five ends before Graham's team had a late comeback to reduce the final score to 14-4.
In the last game of the week, Andrew Brash's team moved of the bottom of the league after beating John Sinclair's team. John's team won singles in the first and last ends, but it was Andrew's team that scored four ends in the middle to win the game 8-2.
