Baird Moves Clear At Top Of Cousland
Scott Baird and his team moved two points clear at the top of the league after a roller coaster game against John Sinclair's team. David Baird was standing in for Scott on the night and everything seemed to be going well when they took three's in the first two ends. But then John's team thought back and over the next five ends to lead 8-7 going into the last end. David playing the last stone in the last end had to take out three laying shots to win the game, which he did to lie two shots and win the game 9-8.
Andrew Graham was playing Graham Russell in the nights other match. The game was very close in the first four ends as both team traded shots as the game was tied at four shots all. In the second half of the game it was all Graham Russell team as they scored in the last three ends to win the game 11-4.
