Wood Goes Clear At Top Of Stoddart

Game two of the Stoddart Cup saw Graham Wood move clear at the top of the league after beating Stewart Barr. The game was very close after the first four ends and actually saw Stewart lead the game 3-2. The game swung in Graham's team favor in the last four ends when they scored two 3's and two 2's to win the game 12-3.
The night's other match was between Graham Young and Basil Baird, was much closer all the way through the game. At the halfway point of the game, the teams were tied at 3-3 with the turning point being when Basil's team scored a 4 in the sixth end which help his team to a 7-5 victory. The win means Basil moved up four places in the league to third.
