Callum Of To A Great Start In Cousland
Callum Wood won his opening game of the Cousland Cup as a skip after defeating Lesley Barr's team. Callum held a narrow 4-3 lead going into the final end, but a draw for an 4 gave his team an 8-3 win.
Andrew Brash's team held the upper hand in the game against Graham Russell's team. They never lost the lead in a match they won 7-3.
The final game of the week was John Baird verses Christine Hamilton. With both skip's absent from the game it was left to James Baird (John Baird) and Jim Wilson (Christine Hamilton) to Skip the game. James seemed in control of the game after leading 5-2 after four ends, but a late charge just about won the game for Jim as James held on for a 6-5 win for John Baird's team.
