Good Showing At Scottish Junior Championships
They were four Midcalder Junior Members playing in this years Scottish Curling Junior Championship at Curl Aberdeen.
Rebacca Baird playing with Team Morrison finished the group stages in first place with 8 wins & 1 loss. Unfortunately they lost the page 1v2 game to Team G Aitken 6-5 and then in the semi-final to Team Macdonald 7-5.
Sophie Sinclair playing with Team K Aitken finished the group stages in fourth place with 6 wins & 4 losses. They then lost 4-3 to Team Macdonald in the Tie Breaker game.
David Baird playing with Team Brydone didn't qualify from group stages with 4 wins & 4 losses. James Baird playing with Team Whyte also failed to qualify with 3 wins & 5 losses. It was great to see so many Mid Calder players qualifying for the Junior Championship. Well done to everyone..!
