Four Nations Competition, Fenton’s Ice Rink, Tunbridge Wells, England.; 16 – 18 January 2015

Great weekend at Fenton's for the 4 Nations - good curling, good chat, good food and drink, and each country won at least one trophy!!!
Wales did the grand slam, as they did 2 years ago, beating Scotland by 32-14, Ireland by 32-25 and England by 30-22
Ireland won twice - against Scotland 30-24 and England 27-15
England and Scotland won once - the English men beat the Scottish men by 41-30 but the Scottish women beat the English women by 20-14

The gold medals for Scotland were won by Billy Howat, Pat Edington, Ian Dyer and David Henderson and for England by Jonathan Havercroft, Nigel Patrick, Vincent Branch and Charles Murphy. These are given to the highest up teams on either side in the England v Scotland men's matches.

Also playing for Scotland were Iain Baxter, Ian Keron, Harry Macpherson and Carol Fleming


Next year it will be Wales' who will be hosting.

The photo's bellow show's two of our Midcalder Members Ian Keron and Harry Macpherson who were playing for Scotland. Another Midcalder member Claire Darragh was playing for Ireland.
