Midcalder Close In On Top Possession Of Glenfarclas

Midcalder Curling Club continued their challenge to win the Glenfarclas Mid Lothian Division 1 title after defeating Barbarians in their latest game. Playing for Midcalder on the night were Alan Russell, Graham Young, Scott Baird and John Sinclair.
Midcalder made a strong start to the game after scoring singles in the first three ends, then a 2 in the fourth end to lead 5-0. Barbarians got onto the scorecard after scoring a single in the fifth end before conceding the game to Midcalder after the sixth end after Alan drew in with his last shot to score a 3 and win the match 8-1.
