Andrew Stays Top After High Scorer In Cousland
Andrew Brash won an exciting game against John Sinclair's team in game 3 of the Cousland Cup. Andrew got of to a great start with an 4 in the first end. Jim Wyllie standing in for John then leveled the game after three ends before Andrew pulled away again with a 3 in the fourth end. Jim closed the gap again with a 2 in the fifth before Andrew scored his second 4 of the game then only to lose a 4 in the seventh. Andrew held his nerve to score a single in the last end to win thew game 12-10.
Callum Wood moved up to second in the league after defeating Christine Hamilton. In a close game, Callum was leading 5-1 after four ends and kept the pressure on Christine's team before stealing a 6 in the last end to win the game 12-2.
In the final game of the week, Lesley Barr was up against Graham Russell and it was Lesley that took control of this game after leading 5-1 after four ends. Graham's team couldn't close the gap anymore as Lesley won the game 7-3.
